Juneteenth is more than a celebration: It is a testament to the resilience and triumph of a community that has overcome tremendous adversity. From the dark days of slavery to the present, where Black students are emerging as influential leaders, the journey has been arduous but inspiring. Perseverance and pursuit of education have been fundamental in this transition.

As we commemorate the fourth Juneteenth event organized by Black AvePoint Excellence (BAE), we are filled with pride and gratitude. This year marks the second time we’ve partnered with the African Diaspora College Access Program (ADC), a remarkable nonprofit dedicated to providing students with access to some of the nation’s top educational institutions.

BAE’s mission as one of AvePoint’s Employee Resource Groups is to give back to our community and shine a light on the incredible work of organizations like the ADC. The ADC plays a pivotal role in shaping the future by ensuring that students from the African diaspora are given the opportunity to excel academically and professionally.

This year, as we honor Juneteenth, we also celebrated the students embarking on their educational journeys. AvePoint and BAE are deeply honored to support these students and witness their growth and achievements. We are excited to continue this tradition and look forward to many more years of collaboration and community building.

Juneteenth serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we have made and the work that still lies ahead. It is a day to reflect on our history, celebrate our achievements, and empower the future. We are proud to stand with the ADC and support the next generation of leaders.

Happy Juneteenth to all! Let's continue to strive for excellence and make a difference in our communities.
