AvePoint Enhances Security and Administration Features with New Release of DocAve Online for Microsoft Office 365

The latest AvePoint Online Services release features increased SharePoint Online policy enforcement, enhanced Exchange Online backup, and event driven replication

Part of AvePoint Online Services, DocAve Online simplifies Office 365 management, administration, and protection. The latest DocAve Online update enhances Office 365 security and administration by enabling organizations to control external sharing of Office 365 content, replicate data across internal and external repositories, and gain better access to Exchange Online backups. New features include:

Controlled Sharing: With DocAve Online, organizations can now restrict access to and sharing of SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business content. This new feature gives administrators the ability to better control access to content internally as well as sharing with external parties, keeping data out of the hands of those who should not have it.

Event-Driven Replication: Through the use of the Exchange Online app, organizations can now perform out-of-place restores to access resources and mailbox archives. This allows IT administrators to upload Exchange Online mailbox backups into new mailboxes – ensuring business-critical data is not lost at the time of an account deletion.
