AvePoint Hires Jeffrey Pease as Chief Marketing Officer to Accelerate Adoption of Enterprise Collaboration and Governance Solutions
Former Medidata CMO and Oracle Vice President Brings Deep B2B Software Marketing Experience to Enterprise Collaboration Leader AvePoint
AvePoint (NASDAQ: AVPT), the global leader in data security, governance, and resilience, today announced that Jeffrey Pease has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. Reporting to Co-founder and Co-CEO Dr. Tianyi (TJ) Jiang, Pease will lead AvePoint’s marketing organization globally as the company continues to execute its growth strategy.
"Jeffrey is a veteran marketing leader in cloud and enterprise software,” said Jiang. “His experience managing marketing at both large scale and high growth companies will be a great addition to AvePoint’s senior management team. Pease joins AvePoint from Medidata, where he also served as CMO and as Vice President of Product Marketing. At Medidata, Pease created simplified company and platform messaging, transformed sales/marketing alignment, and oversaw radical improvements in the company’s online marketing and press presence. Previously, Pease was Vice President of Oracle Applications Labs, evangelizing Oracle’s key cloud applications. He has also held positions at Business Objects (now part of SAP), a private equity fund, several startups, and has served as an expert messaging consultant to companies including Microsoft and Cisco. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornell University and a MBA in marketing from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
