Trying to increase the adoption of Microsoft solutions can be difficult if you don’t have a solid strategy in place. While there are proven organic ways to facilitate adoption, Microsoft also offers a special program called Fast Track that can help streamline the process.

In this episode of P2PNow, we discuss:

  • The basics of what Fast Track offers
  • Who’s eligible to take advantage of the program
  • How AvePoint is involved in Fast Track

Transcript

Christian: The question for this episode is: What is Fast Track?

Fast Track is a service provided by Microsoft and approved partners to help customers onboard more quickly into Microsoft cloud solutions, helping to drive user adoption.

Sam: Microsoft does a lot of marketing around the Fast Track program, but which customers are eligible for these services?

Christian Great question. Customers with eligible subscriptions to Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, or Dynamics 365 and more can leverage FastTrack at no additional cost for the life of their subscription.

FastTrack offers:

  • Online resources and tools available to all customers.
  • End-to-end guidance from Microsoft engineering, including a FastTrack specialist to help you through your onboarding experience.
  • These FastTrack specialists work closely with both customers and partners during an engagement to help customers benefit from all of the resources and guidance available through FastTrack.

Partners then provide proof of services, including key adoption and engagement metrics, to be reimbursed by Microsoft for these services.

Sam: How is AvePoint involved in Fast Track?

Christian: While all customers and partners can use a standardized, repeatable process to support successful deployments as an approved Fast Track partner. AvePoint has combined our expertise with FastTrack services to provide best-in-class solutions to better meet our customers’ plans.

Once engaged, AvePoint works with a customer to help build a plan that drives the achievement of their business goals. We work with the customer’s FastTrack specialist to review the plan and provide guidance about business goals, local infrastructure requirements, timing, and resource needs.

AvePoint provides Fast Track approved services around SharePoint and Teams onboarding and adoption, Microsoft Viva planning and readiness, and more.

Sam: I can see where some partners may leverage AvePoint as an approved Fast Track partner to deliver services, but we also have partners who are approved Fast Track service providers.

The important thing to remember here is that our partners have options when working with AvePoint to develop the right joint strategy for servicing the needs of our shared customers.

Christian: This is an important topic for our partners to discuss with their Partner Manager to see how they can leverage AvePoint’s Fast Track offerings.

Sam: We’re once again driving home that message on the importance of building a strong relationship with your Partner manager. Thank you for that overview, Christian. As always, to find out more about AvePoint’s Partner Program, visit www.avepoint.com/partners.
