AvePoint Singapore was established in 2009, committed to design, develop, and deploy solutions that would help drive digital transformation in the country. Since then, we’ve worked closely with leading Singapore public sector organisations, key institutions of higher learning, and enterprise organizations to achieve this goal.
In 2022, AvePoint invested S$100 million in an international research and development hub in Singapore, fostering innovation in hybrid work, SaaS data security, and modern learning solutions. AvePoint Singapore intends to continue fuelling innovation and growing technology leaders in the region to hire over 500 additional colleagues by 2026.
The Meaning Behind Our Brand
AvePoint’s logo captures our mission: one rooted in nuance and duality. While it symbolizes the sun rising above a mountain, capturing the summits we aim to reach, it also symbolizes a person with a bowed head, referring to our capacity to dream big and make a positive difference – all while retaining humility.
The name “AvePoint” was coined by our Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, Kai Gong, on one of his daily commutes to New York City, when he saw Times Square with a fresh perspective. In that moment, he realized that Times Square is a melting pot of new people, ideas and energy, rather than just an intersection. AvePoint aims to enable exactly this vibrant exchange of ideas by empowering individuals and organisations alike to collaborate with confidence.
