I’m excited to share that AvePoint has been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list in the Software Company category.
Since 2001, we’ve grown from 2 people in a public library to a 2,600+ person global company, private to publicly traded, and in-person to hybrid, but our entrepreneurial spirit has remained the same. We value strengths over experiences and believe that innovation can come from anywhere and anyone across the globe. That’s why we provide unique opportunities for international business assignments, encourage individuals to follow their skills and passions, and trust them with new challenges. At AvePoint, everyone can make an impact and we celebrate them when they do.
Recognition from Inc. is a huge testament to the culture we’ve built since our humble beginnings and one I am very proud of. Thousands of organizations were considered for this award, and nominations were based on two things: an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, and an assessment of benefits.
Here’s what stood out about AvePoint:
It’s an engaging place to be: Compared to other companies of similar size and industry, our people rated their experiences at AvePoint, and their desire to stay at the company higher than the average.
Hard work and potential are rewarded: Our people shared that growth plans and stretch opportunities are given, and are more common than at larger organizations, or even smaller ones with more bureaucracy.
We are team-oriented: The most common word used to describe AvePoint when asked was collaborative, which speaks to our commitment to teamwork and empowering everyone at every level.
What I am most proud of is that these results truly reflect our DNA and our core values of agility, passion, and teamwork. Our teams actually experience our core values on a daily basis – they are not just words we’ve scribbled on a page. While it is hard to fully quantify, it is very clear that the people of AvePoint are genuinely invested in each other’s success. For us, delivering results is not enough; we also strive to help each other go the extra mile, and this is something that goes against the usual corporate competitiveness that can be so pervasive.
We also know that technological innovation is only possible with the right people and culture. We hire, promote, and develop colleagues based on potential and passion, not just experience. That’s why we believe everyone should own their future and be fully backed at all levels. As such, we have doubled down on enablement and internal mobility efforts in the past year.
As part of our ongoing investment in our people, we continue to provide best-in-class technology and experiences for our people, including making investments in AI to enhance operations and productivity, so they can deliver the same for customers, partners, and investors.
For example, AvePoint is evolving the Confidence Platform for organizations using or preparing to use Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI tools. And this is just the beginning. We know that continuing to prioritize employee experience and the culture we’ve cultivated over 20+ years will only bring more innovation and better outcomes for all stakeholders. Our CEO, TJ, always says that as a software company our people are our product — which is why we invest so much time in empowering them to take risks, create new and challenge existing ways of working.
