June Elements updates enable MSPs to function as resellers, so they can offer managed services to some customers and sell licenses to others without providing any services. With this update, MSPs can revoke their access to certain customers’ AOS tenants and products while still monitoring their licensing. This update enables MSPs to offer services without gaining access to their customers’ AvePoint Online Services tenant if they do not offer them managed services.
New Licensing Options for MSPs
To improve your business management, you need to integrate and scale up. We’re making it easier for our partners to meet the evolving needs of their customers by expanding the capabilities of our Elements platform with new licensing options. AvePoint Opus Storage Optimization pooled licensing is now available in Elements for Discovery and Analysis and Storage Optimization, and Fly pooled licensing is now available in distribution marketplaces. Pooled licensing provides a dynamic and cost-effective way for MSPs to manage their software licenses, adapt to changing demands, and maintain a competitive edge in the market, expanding the range of solutions available to our partners. Introducing New License Management Capabilities for Large Account Resellers (LARs)
Elements introduces Large Account Reseller (LARs) licensing, enabling resellers to work more effectively with flexible and tailored solutions that can enhance customer retention and satisfaction. Resellers can purchase one or more pooled subscriptions, sign into the Elements Platform, and perform the following actions:
Manage their pool(s)
Manage their resellers
Assign licenses out from their pool to their resellers
See dashboards and analytics for their pools and resellers
Invite their resellers to create accounts in Elements so they can assign licenses to them
