If content databases fail to backup in Platform Restore jobs, check to see if SQL and MSDTC are timing out when DocAve performs some transactions during the backup. If this issue appears, the Storage Manager BLOBs will fail to backup when the database fails to backup.
To solve this issue, increase the Transaction Time-Out Value. Refer to Microsoft’s article for instructions on How To Change the Transaction Time-Out Value for MTS or COM+.
