Failed to connect to the Control Service when exporting Security Search report

Details:

After running a Security Search then clicking Export for Editing, the following error appears:Failed to connect to the Control Service. Please check the network or the Control Service status and try again.

 

Solution:

  1. Enable file download in Internet Options.
  2. In internet options, lower the security level.
  3. Add manager IP address to the Local Intranet in Internet Options.
  4. Make sure the Silverlight version is 5 both on the problematic server and the physical Manager server.
