Granular Restore from Incremental Backup – Cannot Drill Down Beyond Site Collection

Details:

When attempting to perform a restore of an incremental backup, user cannot drill down beyond the site collection level. To resolve:

  1. Check job report logs and ensure that the content within the site collection has indeed been backed up. If content is verified to be backed up, proceed with steps below.
  2. Navigate to the Granular Restore interface.
  3. Load the timeline of the incremental backup and select the applicable backup.
  4. Select the checkbox Only show incremental data.
  5. Select the problematic site collection and drill down from there. Content should now be available to restore.
