After installation of DocAve 6, several users receive the following error (shown below) when first logging into DocAve: The timer service is down, which may cause the manager service stop working. Please ensure your timer service is started.
To resolve:
Go to the DocAve 6 Manager server, and open IIS Manager.
Select the Application Pool referring to DocAve 6 and select Advanced Settings.
Verify that App Pool user name is also in the local admin group on the DocAve6 Server. If it is not, then add the DocAve 6 account to the group.
Recyle the Application Pool and restart the DocAve Timer Service.
