Details:

For a migration from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 with SharePoint Migrator V6.1 or 6.2, the security checkbox is selected by default on the source environment.

To change the default setting of the security checkbox to be unselected, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the SharePoint Migration module in DocAve.
  2. Select the Create Profile button on the ribbon.
  3. Select the profile being used from the drop-down list and export it.
  4. Open the exported profile with NotePad.
  5. Change the flag NewFlags uncheckAllSecurity from false to true. This value needs to be set to true in order to uncheck all Security checkboxes.
