Permissions of SharePoint Groups Not Migrating

Details:
SharePoint group permissions of a list do not migrate successfully.
SYMPTOMS:
After performing a list-to-list migration from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2007, the list looks correct, but no permissions were migrated.
CAUSE:
The Play button must be selected next to the site that stored this list, as the SharePoint groups that are used to give permissions in the list are stored at the site level.
SOLUTION:
Select the Play button at the site level; all of the groups/permissions will successfully migrate.
