Metalogix Switch Campaign Blog Series :

As part of our Metalogix Switch Campaign, we  will provide Metalogix customers the choice to switch to comparable AvePoint solutions without incurring additional product licensing costs through the duration of their current Metalogix contract (up to a year for AvePoint Online Services customers).

AvePoint’s customer success team will also be at your call to ensure your transition is smooth sailing. This offer will be valid for qualified customers March 30 2018*.

Read below to see how AvePoint Online Services is not only the superior solution, but the safer one as well.

Essentials for Office 365 versus AvePoint Online Services (AOS)**

Issue

Essentials

AOS

Backup and Restore Essentials does not provide a mechanism to encrypt customer data in backups and supports very few backup location types.

With near zero setup you can automate your Office 365 services backups up to four times a day.

Support for Office 365 Groups and Microsoft Teams Essentials only supports Office 365 Groups for the purposes of Google Drive migrations or basic reporting.

Full provisioning, lifecycle management, recertification, security audits, and much more!

Policy Enforcement Essentials cannot protect the environment against unwanted changes or proactively enforce governance policies.

AOS Cloud Management for Office 365 allows administrators to configure policies, identify policy violations and automatically fix unwanted changes.

Client Install / SaaS Architecture Essentials must be installed on every computer where the tool is used. This makes centralized reporting difficult.

AOS is a full SaaS solution with no install necessary. No install, no updates, and no patching required.

Job Monitoring Essentials does not provide a method to monitor multiple jobs that may be running at any given time. There is no overview of the job size nor number of items affected.

AOS provides comprehensive job monitoring for currently running, pending, and historical jobs. Troubleshooting is a snap.

Integration Essentials was purchased by Metalogix from Metavis and it has not been fully integrated in the interface or documentation.

AOS is organically built from the ground up at AvePoint with interoperability between our cloud services and seamless integration to 3rd party cloud providers.

If you have ever considered transitioning to AvePoint or you’re concerned with Metalogix’s future direction, there has been no better time than now to make that decision.
