Here we are again! AvePoint just finished attending a trifecta of Microsoft events this summer, starting with TechEd North America 2012 in Orlando, continuing onto TechEd Europe 2012 in Amsterdam, and finally concluding at
Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Toronto last week. Talk about a great month for the AvePoint team!
AvePoint was out in force at WPC with a week full of meetings with partners from Microsoft and other organizations. We started out the week strong with the announcement of
AvePoint Compliance Solutions. Senior Director of Risk Management and Compliance Dana Simberkoff lead two lively and informative roundtable sessions to discuss the product with partners and Microsoft alike.
Those events were followed up with a festive happy hour event for our partners to continue the compliance discussion while enjoying some bites and drinks with AvePoint’s partner managers and executive staff. AvePoint had valuable and exciting conversations with partners from Microsoft’s Office 365 team, SharePoint team, and others throughout the week at various networking events from
Corus Quay to
Pravda Vodka Bar.
The social highlight of the week, though, was definitely the WPC attendee party. GRAMMY winning band
Train rocked a packed house at
Polson Pier to end the week. It was an amazing performance at a venue with a stunning view (see the photo by Jeremy Thake below), and a perfect end to a week with the AvePoint team from around the globe.
Of course, the best part of WPC is the content and amazing amount of information that partners can consume and build into our messages for the next year.
Windows 8 was the order of the day, and from PC to Phone, AvePoint is excited to be a part of the wave of “productivity for all” that was talked about all week.
Next up on the Microsoft events calendar:
SharePoint Conference at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from November 12–15! We will again be a platinum and keynote sponsor front and center in the Expo Hall. And we’ll be pulling out all the stops for this huge event, so you won’t want to miss what we’ve got in store! We hope to see you there.
