Last week, AvePoint Australia was recognized as a Great Place to Work, ranking ninth in the annual Australia Best Workplaces list by Great Places to Work Australia. This achievement, which comes from the global authority on workplace culture, is a testament to the true nature of AvePoint, and our incredible Australian team.
AvePoint was recognized based on rigorous analytics and confidential feedback from our team members, and rewarded for our culture, which is centered on our three core values: Agility, Passion, and Teamwork.
At AvePoint, our Agility allows us to quickly make decisions to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and team members, allowing us to grow together through mutual success. Our Passion brings a contagious drive and energy wherever our teams operate, ensuring that our colleagues, partners, customers, and community are fully supported. Finally, our commitment to Teamwork comes in our promotion of global collaboration and our desire to help, coach, and mentor one another.
One hundred percent of surveyed team members reported that AvePoint is a great place to work, as compared to only 56% of employees across the Australian workforce who would say the same. In today’s competitive job market, that’s a huge accomplishment!
But we don’t just keep this amazing culture in the workplace. Our team at AvePoint Australia also loves giving back where we can and contributing to the local community. Our goal is for us to take time once a quarter to give back to the community in a way that resonates with our team. Some of our more recent activity has been with FareShare in Melbourne and Oz Harvest in Sydney. We have supported many different organisations such as OneGirl, RSPCA, and the Australian Red Cross. We’ve also competed in races like Connor’s Run where the proceeds help fund research and care for pediatric brain cancer, and have done plenty of offsite volunteer days.
Additionally, one hundred percent of surveyed team members reported that they are offered training and development to grow professionally. I am especially proud of this feedback, given how much effort AvePoint has put into fostering and enabling a growth mindset, something that has been instilled from the top down.
At AvePoint, investing in employee development and well-being is critical to business success. Since opening our Melbourne office in 2008, AvePoint Australia has grown, adding a Sydney office as well to help Australian customers like Vision Australia, the Cancer Council, Swinburne University, and more to collaborate with confidence on digital platforms.
