One of the most important parts of moving to the cloud is maintaining compliance with mandatory government regulations. Fortunately, Microsoft’s Government Community Cloud offers various levels of service that meet the needs of most every state, local, federal and DoD organization.

Microsoft Cloud Differentiation for Government Agencies

Microsoft has the most certifications for any cloud environment in the US (and worldwide); accordingly, they have provided a cloud collaboration solution in Office 365 and SharePoint Online that balances the compliance and governance needs of public sector organizations while still allowing ease-of-use and flexibility for end users.

The Microsoft cloud offerings are Office 365 for Government, Azure Government, and Dynamics 365 Government. There are also Office 365 Government Defense, Azure Government for DoD and Azure Secret, which are offerings specifically for the Department of Defense and intelligence community that adhere to a different set of compliances such as DFARS and ITAR.
